'03 Eclipse Stereo in '01 Eclipse

Wassup yall.....i've got a 2001 eclipse w/ the 4cd changer that does not work. I came across a single cd unit from a 2003 eclipse. I was wondering if i could use this sound system in my 2001 clipse. Any suggestions would be helpful. If it helps for anyone who might have experience w/ this stuff, the model # is MR587250.

I have found that dosent work, they always want you to bring the car in. Dosent hurt to give it a try but if that fails call best buy and talk to the head of the install dep. They know everything.

i had an 01 eclipse i installed like 4 different head units through out the whole time i had it, and it will work no matter wut, they come standard so it will work...and its basically plug and play
