06 Eclipse Gt

well went to the dealership today after i got a phone call saying that they came in the other night. Decided i liked it enough to go ahead and put my name down on the first blue, titanium, or black one they got in that was the 6speed with the performance package (leather, sunroof, fosgate sub system). Gonna be trading my 04 in for the new one. What do people think of the new one?

I kinda think they look too much like the 350Z myself. But then again I run Nissans too my daily driver is an '03 Sentra LOL maybe I should get the '06 Eclipse have the best of both worlds....

true, they remind me of a cross between the 350z and the audi tt. If i could do a motor swap and everything else i would probably keep my 3g, but dont feel like taking the time and money to do that, plus i like the interior of the new one more.

with a wide body kit and some mods it would look bad like my sig!!!

the upper model one looks not too bad, definitely an improvement over the 3gen eclipse, but id stil take a 2gen over that.
The lower end model is so ugly though, it looks like its worth $8k

LOL I think a cross between a 350, a soap bubble, and a new style bettle are what the new eclipses look like... But then again.... I haven't looked at the interior yet. Had no desire to the exterior doesn't appeal to me. Besides I want my next car to be convertible.

i am impressed...i did a write u on thsi car, and it sounds like an excellent new step in the evolution of the eclipse

i think they went back to the 2G style "round frnders bodylines" but the puy a little more exterior styling on the car. i think it looks great and i do want to get one.
