What do you guys think? This guy wants to run me. He only has an intake, and is sure he can take me. His is all wheel drive turbo, with 274 hp stock, and he added a cold air intake. Thats it. I have: EvoIII Big 16G, intake with K&N, Greddy Type RS BOV, Greddy Evo2 catback, removed BCS, removed resonator (if that helps any, Lol), and lower intercooler piping. What do you guys think?
By the way, I also have a Voodoo MBC.

add that and some race gas and a MBC and run like 17PSI you should maybe but from a stock still NO!!

put it this way.. tha car has 210hp and he has a cai.
The GST has stock 220... plus a 16g and 15psi and exhaust ect... i think the GST has him hands down!

Where did you get these numbers? They are wrong, but hp isnt the only factor here, look at weight and traction. I agree with EZ

MazdaSPEED 6 is TUrbo AWD it is exactly the same 1\4 stock for stock as my EVO. the speed6 weights about 3600lbs but it has alot of power and it I herd of a variable AWD where in highway driving it goes FWD somehow.
The 6 is faster the the DSM guys AWD>>>>FWD from a stop all day long.

ok you need race gas a down pipe no cat 17PSI or better if you can. and some nice Drag radials if from a stop. AWD will KILL you of the line. if you race from a 45 MPH roll you havve a shot

do you know what your gst is running in the 1/4?i saw the 6 on motorweek tv and they ran it to a 14.0,and thats a prof driver.not very impressive when an srt 4 runs that or better stock.i think you have a great chance from a roll.but like emonz said,he will kill you from a stop.unlees you can launch the hell outta that thing he should beat you from a stop.....

it will be a close race i think. Becuase your car would probably run like a mid to low 13 sec. 1/4 mile. I really think it would come down to the driver.

i'm gonna have to agree w/ Engineer, he says he can take you.... take you where? from a roll? it would be a close race all depending on the driver and how well they know their car. from a stop? if he knows his car and knows how to launch ur dead off the line, with a downpipe and BC i think you could take him though from a roll, they are extremely heavy and we all know what the AWD drivetrain does to them at higher speeds. just race the guy, if you win, awesome, if not... no big deal, use it as motivation and let us know what happens.

Who cares what you have and what he has. Sheesh buddy, put 1 foot on the clutch and 1 on the gas and go!! LOL Racing should be fun and if you win you know what you can do. If you lose.. you know what you need to improve on. I pretty much don't race anyone since I have a stock AWD Auto. I KNOW what my car can do. You HAVE MODS.. Launch it and Race Race Race!! LOL

But I dont like this guy. He is COCKY! I dont like him too much. He said he would run me for "****s and giggles." because he knows he can take me. That really pissed me off. This is why I dont want to lose.

Just roll race him from like 50-100 or something. Like I said if you have a DP and race gas at 17# you will prob walk hard
