hey i am going to look at a 1994 eclipse is there anything you think i should specifically ask or check for also it is a 5speed anything is a help,thanks

Check the clutch... go full throttle a few times in third to check for slipping. Hit every single gear including reverse. Look under the oil cap for mayo (goopy white crap) also sniff the oil cap for gas. Rev the car up on the spot and quickly run to the back and check for blue smoke. Take a compression test with you and check compression. Bounce the front end of the car checking for ****ed shocks.. Ask when the timing belt was changed.
