Hay everyone. I skipped the newbie thread since I joined quite some time ago. So anyway the mustang is in a gas price induced coma, and I picked this car up as a dd for $600 it runs great, but is kinda lacking power. So now a couple quick questions. Does anyone know a way to rig the stock intake to work like a ram air so I dont have to buy an intake. Also it came with a magnaflow catback, wich is still in the hatch. How hard is the install on that. id assume its a simlpe bolt on? also the hatch doesnt open with the key and the release switch on the inside only works occasionally. Any ideas on that. Oh and lastly I was wondering if I have the 1.8 or 2.0 the engine code is 4g37...thanks all

Well your answer for lack of power is the 4g37, 1.8 sohc are very very slow. You can hack the stock air can and remove the silenser from the mas.
The exhaust should be pretty simple bolt on as long as the exhaust bolts arn't totally rusted out.
