2.4L SOHC Whats Best Intake????

I was wondering by anyones experience what the best intake for this engine is, i was thinking an AEM V2 but I dont think they make one lol I just got the car like 2 days ago so I dont know much about anything about eclipses.

I am assuming you mean the 2.4L from the 3G Eclipse (2000-2005). AEM does make the V2 and Injen is a choice. You also have K&N too.

No i mean the 2G 2.4L in 99 eclipse spyder GS.....its a 4 cyl.

a 2.4 liter in a 1999 Eclipse???????? SOHC????? Um...they dont make those for the 2g's. If you do have a sohc then its 1.8 liter

yea whats that all about????? any help.......i cant really find any performance i wont be unbelievably dissapointed i was just gonna go for show mostly but like intake headers possibly exhaust would be nice lol

the intake doesnt do much, mostly looks, i cut the dead end can off mine and stuck a cone style filter on the end, took out the stock air filter and personally think it works better than when i had my aem intake on it........... but if your really wanting one, i believe injen makes one that fits, i think its for an integra but works on our engines also...........

you can always head down to hope depot and make a cold air intake out of big ass PVC piping and buy a cheap filter haha my friend did that for really cheap for his legacy and I was impressed it actually looked not bad at all.
they sell bends an stuff too.

i suggest the injen it has all the hookups for your OEM vac lines and mass airflow sensor so it can pass emisions "where i live most cold air intakes fail because these sensors are not there". also it only cost about $135 at a performance store.

All the intakes are practically the same doesn't really matter which one you get.

yea, but there are only one or two that fit a stock spyder gs...........
