Has anyone bought this from the dealership? I want to cover my new GT since I have no garage. I figure the factory cover is the best for the car. Will some aftermarket cover that may be less expensive work as well?

Of course you can buy an aftermarket car cover for less but the Mitsubishi car cover is designed specifically for the cars specs. Usually with the aftermarket car covers they design one cover for multiple vehicles.

Granted but they're going to charge you an arm and a leg for a cover that's shaped like the car when you can get a generic one that'll do EXACTLY the same thing for $50

You have a valid point. But personally, I would prefer the factory accessory thats designed specifically for my car. I persoanlly think that $260 is pocket change when it comes to my $28K investment.

I understand that point and if that's what you feel fine but myself I don't have the $ to spend on a custom car cover especially since I've modded the exterior of my car so the cover wouldn't fit right anymore anyways. But quite frankly you can get some good quality covers for less than $100.
