I just go my windows tinted last monday and I'm noticing scratches on the tint and they look like that were caused by rolling the windows up and down. does anyone have any ideas? not sure if I get it re-done if it will help at all. It was professionally installed and has a lifetime warrenty.
Well my friend there must be some sand on your window rubber (where the glass comes out) or they just did the ghetto way of putting the tint without cleaning the glass first before putting the tint.

The tint protector product is a must have for this car. Its pretty easy to install, too. Either install it yourself, or talk to your window tint place and have them install it before redoing the tint.
Yap that product is perfect for 2008 Lancer.
I knew that rubber stripping will scratch a tint.
it'S too tight but it's good though to prevent out side sounds. I think installing those tint protector can have extra protection on the rubber and tint.
good job NEO240

....after you re-tint and install the moleskins.
do you best to avoud opening your windows for 2 weeks and park in the sun as much as possible.
get a can of PLEXUS. it is a plastic cleaner and polish. use this as your interior windoe cleaner.
the plexus will make the tint surface very "clean and slick" so less of a chance for dirt to stick to the surface.
i have an '08 gts & '07 outlander. both tinted , no scratches...............
