2nd G. engine swap

I've found an early '92 eclipse turbo engine (4g63) to put into my '97 gst
I was wanting to know what I will need to make the swap...Like, will I need to swap out the computer with a 1st G.? Will my mounts work? Will my tranny mount up with no problem?....stuff like that. Any info would be helpful......looking to start as soon as I know what I need.

Visit Vfaqs.com and enter the main site. Under the Engine section there will be a faq that shows how to swap the 1g engine in a 2g. Also, Road race engineering has some pretty good info on how to do the swap, do a yahoo search for the shop's site. You've pretty much listed the three big problem area's in the swap, the mounting, ecu, and tranny. But these sites will be able to answer specific questions for you and even have pictures of what to look for and stuff. Good luck and keep us posted on the swap.
