Ok. Bought a 1G 4G63 engine non turbo. I am rebuilding with all forged interenals - basically turbo NOS ready. I heard that the difference between 4G63 turbo and non turbo is different rods and head plus all the compnents a turbo comes with. Well basically i know a 6bolt is alot stronger than a 7bolt. I right now am stripping engine but want some help on the difference between the 2. I am going to put all turbo parts on this block .20 over and am gunna try to save as many 1g parts that i can save to save money. its going to take me about 6 months to build and all but need a starting point for help. any comments suggestions would be a help. Can i use the same head, have it rebuilt w/ new valves maybe 1mm over?? or do i have to buy i turbo head??? Also, i am looking for a nasty crank, riod, piston set-up. any suggestions there. compression wise??? thanks. looking for a 95 GSX or any 2G GSX. reason 95 so i can run dsm link but if not then i will settle for afc until i find a 95 ECU. any theft, fire, total losses available out there???
