4G63 Non-Turbo to Turbo

hi.

I have a 95 Eclipse Non-Turbo. its the 4g63 Engine.
Can i build it up to a turbo engine with parts of the 4g63 Turbo like crankshaft, pistons and Rods?
It have not enough Horsepower.

I would like to ask if you are sure that your 95 Eclipse is a N/T 4g63. The reason I ask is because Mitsubishi made the N/T 2Gs with a Chrysler 420a motor. The 1G Eclipse utilized the N/T 4g63 in 1.8L size, but not in the 2nd Gen.
If the motor is on the passenger's side (you guys have the driver seat on the left correct?) it's the 420a. I just want to be clear on the motor first.

If he has a spyder he has a 4g64.

Its realy a 4g63 Non-turbo 7bolt.
Its on the passenger's side. I have the driver on the right if you sitting inside.

There are a lot of posts to this. You must look at the pics than you will see that it is def. a 4g63.

in the instructions of the car the engine is a 4g63

Ok i have to post here. Since im the only one that knows German i feel my input is needed.

There ARE 4G63 non turbo 2g Eclipses in Europe. They are called the GLsi or something like that. They DO exist.

It is easier to buy a turbo eclipse engine rather than rebuild the non turbo one. Because you need ECU, exhaust and all thost things. If you do buy a turbo eclipse engine it should drop in fine.

like je Pistons, eagle rods and camshaft...
and the ecu i can buy at ebay and programed it for the engine and Horsepower....

Yes you can do that.

You will need the exhaust too. You will not even have to reprogram the ECU. Buy the turbo ECU from ebay and it should work fine.

Or you can just buy the whole Eclipse Turbo engine from ebay. This will save you money.
