I'm not sure if I should stroke it or not. Haven't decided. So I get to make a wishlist of parts I need. I want around 500 or so, anyone have a good list of stuff I should start with. I'm talking all the parts.

It shouldn't be too much work, if you get tired of stroking it maybe theadvocate can finish it for you;)

Could start with rods(eagle) pistons (Ross,JE,Wiseco). I would do that for sure.. After that your starting to get expensive though.. Not saying thats cheap to do, but then your lookin over a grand..

really i'm gonna be taking my time building it, so that won't matter to me too much, though if anyone has a good head (lol) snicker, to put on it, i'll buy it off of you.

I actually have a freshly rebuilt one laying around.. But it would be kind of pricey with shipping.. Not to mention everything in it is brand new..

nice find man. yea a forged piston/rod combo will run you between 700 and 1000 depending on the name but any name brand will hold 600+. you'll also need the rod bearings, main bearings, are you getting the main cap with it? if not you'll have to find one of those and have a maching shop line bore it for you. all in all about 1500 bucks later you'll have one sweet block!

don't know if it has the main cap, i'll find out tuesday. yeah i'm gonna be happy.

i don't know if it matters or not, but on extremepsi.com it has different types and brands of main and rod bearings, any ideas on which i should get?

i got clevit for my 420a back in the day which i'm told is a very reputable company. (rod and main) which will run you about 100 bucks for the both of them. while ur at it... personally i'd also get the polyurethane motor mounts if you are going all out. it's only an extra 100 bucks for all of them and they will keep ur motor very very sterdy in the bay w/o all that rocking n swaying.

yeah, those are pretty cheap, i will probably get those.
