Okay, so I now own a '95 GS with the 420A, and even though I think it's a p-o-s, I am going to keep it and fix it. But I found a 91 GSX 5-speed that is just beautiful. I have saved up a little under 1500 to fix my car, and am seriously thinking about getting the GSX to drive until I get my 2nd gen Full upright. Anyway, Anyone on here have any problems out of their 1st gen gsx's? I've had nothing but problems out of my 420A, and the suspension on my car....... Partly because of the people who owned it before me, partly because of Mitsubishi. But I would like to hear what you guys have to say about the first gen GSX. I trust judgement on here more then anywhere else I've looked.

well its an old car so your gonna have problems with the GSX also. You may not have as serious problems with it though as far as engine and stuff that you have with the gs. It really depends on the owner. How many miles? How much are they asking?

I would just sell the engine from the 420a and NOT repair the car itself. Sell it off as a parts car and keep your 1.5k for a GSX. You will have more $$$ to play with i guarentee you.

$1200 asking price, 115,000 miles, Just got serviced, timing belt, tires & Water pump. Maintinance was kept up, oil changes up to date, etc. Pretty good looking/running car. It is older, which means there will more then likely be something that needs to be done to it. I can't get rid of the 95, I love it. It is a little less then perfect.... ALOT less than perfect, but I bought it to fix it up.
