okay i drove in the new car and the clutch feels so much different than mine. it does not have a sticking point but does have an engagement point. i just cannot really feel it. i have to just go by when the car starts moving to know that is when it is releasing. it is not harder then stock, i just am not able to easily tell where the engagement point is... is this normal? oh, and it seems a little close to the floor also. but maybe it is just me...

what do ya think? does that sound normal? if so then i will just smack meself in the back of da head...

I had this exact same issue when I installed my 2600, it is normal. Just wait a couple hundred miles for it to break in and it will settel in a normal spot, it will most likley change a couple times, mine did. The pedal will always be stiffer that is why it holds more power!

it is a clutch with 8k miles on it.... i test drove it and drove and felt fine, the pedal just felt really weird.... maybe cuz he didn't have a longer pushrod thing??

well the pedal WILL be stiffer no matter what to some degree, as for the engagment point, mine is a very very short engaugement. Like I lift the pedal up from the floor a little bit then it is a very short distance from a little slip to fully engauged, that is normal. Is that what it kind of feels like?

hey jerusry, if you havent already, you can go down and adjust your clutch with the rod going to the master cylinder under the dash.. that will make it so it dont have to be so close to the floor to engage.. just loosen the bolt and with plyers, not on the threads, turn the rod out a couple turns(so it is pushing further out towards the master cylinder)
