Well look at it this way I just got a 2001 GT spyder with premium package and half the miles for $1900 more than you paid for a car that was a year older and a coupe which is a cheaper car

Actually sell the Evo now.  Going to make a little profit over what I paid for it BUT I did dump about $10k into the motor so I wont get that back.  Atleast a 400HP AWD car is fun to drive untill I sell it

 
 
and you're not even including your labor. cars aren't an investment, they're a money pit. The only thing that loses value faster is a computer.

you got that right...  Luckily I did all the labor work on the car with help of some buddies too but of course it didnt cost a dime to do the work.  If I had paid for labor tack on at least another $1000 if not prob quite a bit more

so, what you have to factor in now is the intangible. How much have you enjoyed that as compared to if you were driving a buick. It's like going to a strip club...it may be a waste of money...but as wastes of money go...

Oh its been worth every penny per say.  I love the car its a blast but  The return after shelling out all the cash to mod it is not there.  only slightly but not enough to hardly matter

they do dig the spyder more the the toaster oven on wheel that is the Evo

a friend of mine from high school started buying old beaters, fixing them up and reselling them. The sweetest deal he ever found was a 69 GTO Judge, barn find, mint condition, like 20, 000 miles.
 
he's worth a couple million today, no college.

But when i think about it, its a tie between the McLaren F1, i love the central driving position and the skill needed to drive it" totally BLEW my mind. Wish My GF liked to go fast.  He hates my Evos speed but loves the Car.  She wants to buy one which will NOT happen but anytime I floor it I get yelled at.   Lucky for my my wastgate and exhaust are so annoyingly loud I cant hear her untill I rewatch it in a incar video lol
