after i installed my cone filter, my service engine light turn on, my air con was blowing hot air, and drive could go past 3,000 rpm( but works perfectly fine in sportronic). Is this nornaml?
That doesn't sound good at all........
Take everything off and try it again. Make sure the cone filter is on right.

there has got to be a way of reseting the ECU without going to the dealer???????
Something?
How do they reset the ECU in the lancers ?
Is it a mechanical thing or do they have to plug into a data port with a computer?

you dont need to take it to the dealership, just take the battery off, both pos and neg off for about an hour, should reset it.
