Audio In-Dash Reciever Installation for a '02 Lancer

My car is a '02 Mitsubishi Lancer ES... Can someone tell me what I need, and a guide to taking out the stock radio/cdplayer?

I suggest using a wire harness to plug into the factory harness instead of cutting the factory harness off. You can get one at any wal-mart, parts store or electronics store. It is also a good idea to get an in dash kit it makes things much easier.

Actually I just found a shop around here that'll install my amp, subs, and the cd reciever for $80. But thanks for your help!
