Hey all,
So after all that, i ended up buying that 2006 eclipse. So far i'm damn happy with it. Anyways, I noticed when i open the driver or passenger door, if the window is rolled up all the way, when i open the handle, the window will roll down about half an inch. Then when i close the door, the window will roll itself back up. At first i thought something was wrong with it, but both doors do this, i'm sure it's supposed to. I'm wondering why though? Is it because there is no door frame around the window like most cars?
bmw's have been doing this for years, it helps create a tight seal when you open/close the doors.

It also relieve the internal pressure and allows for an easy open and closing of the doors...trust me, I wish I had that too, lol.

ya my dads porsche has that. that way when you open the door the window doesnt get caught on the seal. my dad always gets pissed at me whenever i open the door without letting the window retract a bit.
