So today I found my AUX wires for my digitial camera and said hmmm lets go plug it into the outlander. Low and behold instead of the picture showing up on my camera it was showing up on the navigation screen. Then I put my camera to view the pictures and it showed them all on the screen instead of the 2.5" camera screen which makes viewing pictures you just took way easier and bigger. I didnt try and drive and take pictures yet but, when I put it in reverse and backed up 3 feet the camera stayed on. I just thought I would share this bit of information. Possibly a back up camera install? Find a camera that has AUX inputs and just hook up power to it. The only down fall would be putting the AUX input on before backing up. Makes it alittle easier than pulling the head unit and cutting into the wires. Its not perfect or the best way to do but easier.
