Yes. They do it all the time. Or at least they did on DPA. Use a heat gun and/or a simple plastic disc.

YOU REALLY HAVE HELPED ME OUT. BUT MAYBE IMA LITTLE SLOW BUT IM NOT UNDERSTANDING THE WHOLE PLASTIC DISC THING. ILL PROBABLY BE BETTER OFF USING THE HEATING GUN.

When you say an engine swap, I assume you would mean to another 420a? You couldnt have water in your engine, at all, as if you did it would be hydrolocked (water doesnt compress) that could be a myriad of things... where are you leaking oil from?

WEN I POP MY HOOD I SEE A BUNCH OF OIL RIGHT AROUND THE TOP OF MY ENGINE (LIKE ITS LEAKING FROM MY HEADERS...I THINK). I JUS GOTTA OIL CHANGE LIKE LAST MONTH AND MY OIL LIGHT IS ON. I HAVE 2 PUT MORE OIL IN LIKE EVERY 3 WEEKS.

Do not use a heat gun! It can damage the paint. Use a blow drier instead. You don't have to heat it up very much and they peel right off.

You need a new head gasket... which more than likely would account for that sound... I wouldnt drive it too often (at all) on a blown head gasket... youre bound to warp the thing...

Your oil is probably coming from your valve cover. Just take it off and put a fresh gasket on it. Clean it up and see if you get anymore oil after you drive it. If you had a head gasket leak or damaged block, you would see a lot of color in your exhaust. White=water, grey=oil, black=gas (running too rich). If your oil light is on and you have oil in the engine, it is either the sending unit or your oil pump is out. If your pump is out, you would hear a lot of noise from the engine, like everything is loose.

Gary could be right too... I didnt think to ask if it was smoking at all... if its not, it could very well be the VC gasket... which is an easier fix... cheaper too.

Fishing string does work too, for badge lettering. Even an old ID card or the likes (after you get it started off that is).
The point is to get something thin between the car and lettering. Stickers are going to take more effort and time. Heat will work better for those.
Oh, one more thing..
Press this button here would you...

Likely to be the head gasket, do a compression test.

I don't know if this the right way to do things, but on my other cars, I removed some of the lettering on the back as well. after carefully peeling the letters off with a DL or credit card, I used some lighter fluid (like you would put in a Zippo) it removes the stickiness from the adhesive, and it wipes right off. I had the car for 2 years after that, and never noticed any oxidization or fading of the paint.

It also will eat your clearcoat, be careful.
