you need an install kit for it. the 16G faces upward where as you T25 faces down so you need the "j" pipe to route it like a 1G and oil feed ect. I know I have posted pics of this before showing the T25 compaired to the 16G on a DSM

here is one link but no pics just talking about it

http://www.mitsubishiforum.com/m_35116/mpage_1/key_need%252Cinstall%252Ckit/tm.htm#35163

I cant find the other thread there are to many that talk about this and I dont know which on I posted the pictures

so here they are the first is the 1G with a 14b but the 14b faces the same way that the 16G will and the second is the T25

to run boost higher than around 12 PSI you should get some injectors and an SAFC or something to tune the car with.

Yes apexi makes the SAFCII. and Yes I tuned my car It is really easy if you have a wideband o2.. it took me about an hour to tune my car and there was a serious gain in HP after I was done.

And as for needed a EBC you will need either an electric or manual to change your boost and make sure it doesnt get to high.

Stock T25 W\O MBC or EBC runs 10-12 but can handle 16 the stock fuel cant take much after that neither can the T25. The 16G on stock fuel is best to stay around 12 untill you get injectors and a tune

a 16G flow More effeciently than a T25 so running the same boost will give you better gains that is why you cant run 16PSI with stock fuel on the 16G. PSI doesnot= power exactly... PSI and a good tune will

I have a wideband that tells my o2 readings in digital. stock reading is 9.8 which is really rich... the best place to be is 11.3-11.5 the SAFC is easy to tune its just a knob you turn to take fuel out of the mixture at a giving RPM range. for example my SAFC over 3000-3600RPMs is -4% but 6600-7000 is -19% the car adds more fuel up higher on the RPMs soo I need to subract more to maintain the 11.3-11.5 A\F range

so uh... why is this guy so afraid of the install kit anyway??? al it includes is a j-pipe, some new oil lines and a few gaskets. even if you got a direct bolt on you should still change gaskets.

Good luck finding one, unless you know a company that can make you a kit. Not many if any sell just piping with out the FMIC, I don't know why thats just how it is.
