remotley POSSIBLE yes... plossible, no lol... anything is possible if you have time, money and know what your doing.... are you wanting to use the 1st gen or the 2nd gen as your base car?

I really dont understand what it is you want to do. As far as body, chassis, engine, ect. Exactly what are you trying to combine and use of each?

ok. this is wat i wanna do. i wanna use 1gen frame. 2nd gen body. 3rd gen motor n tranny.
im ganna have to find a way to reinforce the frame for the body. which will make it heavier. thats y im going with a 2.4L

WHY?

This makes absolutely no ****ing sense whatsoever. There is no reason to do this. Because if you want a 2.4 in a 2g eclipse then get either a spyder (which comes with it) or take a turbo eclipse with a 4g63 do the crank swap from a 4g64 and BAM there you go. As for the frame, what the hell is the defference between using a 1g and a 2g.

This whole thing is as pointless as peter griffins cow kite

Personally i dont think that it would be a good idea, in the end it would be more trouble then it's worth. why dont you do what i did any buy something blown and destroyed and go NUTS on it. I bought a Eagle talon ESi, good tranny. Automatic though, with a blown motor, and it needs body work. that way i can do a little of everything when i get bored. IM rebuilding, remodeling and tranny swapping.. great fun i tell you... haha wait, no its not!.. SOMEdays man lol..

haha. i did.... i got a 95gs. hade a bent valve, slipped clutch, needs body work, headliner falling, seats ripped, etc. i rebuilt the motor n tranny. doing body soon. and interior after that

i guess i shouldnt get over my head.

with the 4g63 motor for the eclipse, u can get the crank, pistons, arms, etc. from a galant and throw them into your eclipse block, and BAM... instant 2.3, no boring needed, cuz the galant motor has a longer stroke, so its a cheap stroker kit for your eclipse, just need to have someone reprogram your computer to compensate and probly have your cylinders honed since part of the cylinder hasnt been used by the original stroke, and probly has some buildup on it....
