Hi I am new to the forum but it looks like we are picking up a 07 outlander XLS sight & sound + lux for $20,200. I was wondering if I swaped the deck out for an aftermarket would I loose the bluetooth function or is there a way to make it work with the aftermarket decks.

Your going to be SOL as the bluetooth module communicates with the head unit via the CAN bus.

You would be mad to start pulling the radio out of the dash it has it own display linked in to it unless you have mms (satnav) this car does not need to have the radio removed if you do you would have no clock no phone settings no dial display

if this is for the 2007 model I would like to call your dealer too. for me in the UK it would mean I could get them for £8300 and I could import them for the EU and sell them £20k each
