Has anyone found a way to keep bugs from sticking to the front of the vehicle?   I'm going on a long road trip next week....somebody told me to spray PAM..a cooking pot spray...

Any ideas?

I've seen a 'temporary bra' in a spray can in clear and black colors..not sure how well it works.

Pam is oil and alcohol, and alcohol will strip any wax or sealant you have on there..

If it were me, I'd put on a nice coat of sealant or wax, take some microfibers and quick detailing spray and give it a wipe at the end of the day.  Then after the trip, use a clay bar after a good wash.

I was thinking of putting on a thin coat of that "tire shine" all across the front..You know, that stuff dealers use on the tires of display cars...I'll be driving across Texas and this is the Love Bug  season....

Love Bugs are nasty..their guts are especially acidic..be sure to clean them off!

I wonder if plastic wrap would stay on at high speeds

3M clear vinyl. Works perfectly and you cant even see it  : )

I would buy that 3M film protectant that covers the bumper and hood. If your trying to save money and not blow 100+ then buy a can of bug and tar remover and wipe down the front when you feel the bug build up is getting out of hand. I actually just did the front of mine since I live by whites boggs in NJ basically nothing but pinelands. You could only imagine how many bugs and catipleiers I have smushed on the front of my car each week. I also have 2 thick coats of was on the front fenders, hood, bumper and every part by the front bumper.
