several things. but first let me refer www.vfaq.com. a great site for your needs. well, you'll need to see if your current engine harness with support the 2.0l. cause you're going from 1.8 to a 2.0. not very many parts from the 4g64 wil swap to the 4g63

if you can get the whole motor (block, head, fuel rail, injectors, intake manifold and such) all you have to get is an ecu and drop her in.

Can you tell a major differance in the 130hp engine compared to the 93hp? I just want it cause they sell alot of parts for it, and the car is totally gutted so it is very light

well once you have the 4g63 in there, turbocharging is the next step and that is where you can really get a much faster car.

or you can just put in a 4g63t in there so yo have a turbo motor in there.

dude, if you're swapping engines, you don't have to swap cranks.

x2 hit ebay and look up "4g63t long block turn key"... thats what you want. You would probally be better off going to a junkyard and getting a parts car thats got the entire motor intact and just swaping everything.

well since me and my uncle are doing the swap( he has experience i dont) I dont want it to be too much of a head ache for him) He said wire'n wouldnt be bad because nothings in the car and i just need the basic hook ups. Also what mods should i do before i drop the engine in? I already have a cold air intake and throttl ebody spacer for it, i found headers i'm going to get, platnium plugs and wires, royal purple oil,Light weight Crank pulley.

The Car itself has already been gutted and lowered.

But what other not too expensive mods can i make?
