ok well when i drive normal or hard at random my car i guess shutters for a second, like my clutch is slipping. mind you that a while back i had a problem with my clutch hydrolic system not hitting the recir valve so it would keep pressure on the clutch pretty much riding it untill i got her fixed. so my question is since my car shutters driving down the road at random, is that my clutch starting to go out?

i would say if it's shuttering it could even be bad plugs or wires, replace 'em both and see if that fixes the problem

yea you dont get shuttering from a clutch. You only get slipping usually at WOT.

yea, clutch slipping would make your rpm's go up and your speed will not... i would think to do as sk8dudety said and replace the plugs n wires

you can get shuttering from a clutch, it usually happens when a little bit of fluid has been smeared onto it. if its only a little bit it causes it to shutter instead of actually slipping. you said you had a problem with the hydraulic system, that might have something to do with that, or you could possibly be leaking oil from your main seal or maybe your trans. there are a few different options to your problem

but the easiest, and still cheap, way to check it the plugs n wires..

well is it a violent shuttering? does it shake the whole car? cause if it does, its prolly not gonna be spark plugs or wires

well let's see what he says about the plugs and wires after he checks 'em, then we'll go from there
