yeah it deff gives it a cleaner look, and i've only seen it on 500+ hp cars. and i don't think it burns any better. i'm running the same plugs and they're not too bad

Ok here is the question do you think that I should go with coil on plugs for $200 or Magnecor + New plug plate for $95?

well if it were me i'd just go with magnecores and new plate. but it depends on weather u're gunna build the car in the future or not. if you're planning on not going crazy then there's no point in getting the coil on plug

I like the coil on plug. I don't really notice anything different though. I think the theory behind it is that the spark is stronger and therefore is more inclined to ignite the compressed mixture in the cylinders. Like the other guys said though I don't think i'll notice a difference until my hp numbers go up

They come stock... why? Because they are more reliable and need less maintanance.

My overall power goal is 350 or so, I will be happy with that, so do you think I should do magnecor or Coil on plug?

Magnecores should be fine for that. The coil on plug isn't worth it for that

Well if you ever had a coil go bad you could just go to the junkyard ad get a handfull of 300m cop's.

well i'm a person that just thinks every little thing helps in some way.  in some articles i've seen them in, one in paticular, on an STI it was like 350whp or something, they installed them and b/c of the stronger spark it started spooling like 200 or 300 rpm's quicker and reached full hp 200-300rpm's quicker and picked up like 6hp or something.   i plan on running them on my del sol.

Well It is only $100 more so I think that I am going to go with the COP set up. If nothing else it will clean up my engine bay and look sweet! I will let you guys know how it turns out. I won't get it until nexy month tho.

I have COP it just runs off of 300m coils. They're really not that expensive. The likelihood of a coil going out is much smaller than a spark plug wire developing an arc or some other problem. Just make sure you get the right one. Give them the production date and the body style of your car. For example my car was made in 94 but it is a 2g body style so it the trigger signal needs to be switched (95-96 style cam angle sensor) If you have any other questions about it, just pm me. Later brother

Honestly, if you are only planning to run a 350hp setup, then there is NO need for a COP setup. A set of Mitsubishi wires will be just fine.

ya..  vicious is running a big setup.   He prolly has the fastest 2g setup on the forums.   Really the only reason to go with them is for looks unless your gonna go for big hp gains.    But thats enough reason for me in some cases
