ok i called around to see if i could find some help on where the ignition control module is and they said there is not one on the 96 model but one of my friends told me on some cars if the fuel pump burns up that the car has a relay that when the pump burns up it triggers that relay to make it to where the car won't get spark is there any type of relay like that on the 95-96 model eclipse? and if so where?

come on someone please help me out here i just need to know if there actually is an ignition control module and maybe where it is and if there is any relay to the fuel pump that may have went off and is making it to where i don't get any spark from the coil pack

figured out why it wasn't getting spark there is a relay by the fuel pump relay and one of the prongs on the connector was bent we bent it back and hooked it back up and the car started right up this just shows how little and stupid something could be to make a car not start thanks for everyones advice and all of the help i greatly appreciate it

Thanks for posting up the solution. It always seems to be the simple things we forget to check

Glad to hear its fixed. These sorts of things are very hard to diagnose without testing equipment, and seeing the car. Unless it is something seen before, as like what I said, I had a similar problem.

testing equipment as in a 20$ multimeter from harbor freight

and how the heck did you manage to bend one of those things? did you take out the relay before that or somethin?

well the guy i bought it from unplugged both relays because the fuel pump went out and he knew that one of those was the relay but when he went to hook it back up he hooked them up wrong well when he turned the key over he didn't hear the fuel pump prime so he switched them around again and when he hooked them up he didn't know he had bent one of the prongs so he just slid it in and then the car wouldn't crank over but when it didn't start up he didn't think about one of the prongs being bent so he decided to change out the other things that could possibly make the car not start so he spent about 200 dollars changing out everything LOL and finally after i bought the car for a grand we checked those relays noticing the prong was bent and we bent it back hoping it wouldn't break and we got lucky after that the car started right up
