I recently ordered a set of Cosworth cams and valve springs from WORKS and I'm hesitant about installing them myself. Does anybody have any information on this subject specifically for the Evo's? My plan is to remove the valve springs and install the new ones by using a compressor and keeping around 15-20 psi in the cylinder. I've heard another method is to put rope in the cylinder. I'm determined not to have to remove the head...any light on this subject?

I would remove the head dude. your only going to be the head studs away from pulling the head off. Prob will make the job 10x easier. Not that I have ever done springs though. I did do my cams with the head off and those are the easy part

When I installed my cams I didn't remove the head; it was actually surprisingly easy by following the instructions posted on the evomoto website. While installing the cams I also did the head studs.
