DIY on changing tie rod?

My tie rod just broke in half so i was wondering if anyone has a diy on how to replace one, it doesnt seem that difficult.

the good news, its relatively easy to change.
and if you'd like to have the comfort of knowing you did it,
i'd say go for it.
the bad news, you will need an alignment afterwards.
you just need to get the wheels as close to straight as possible before driving it.

how did you break the tie rod??

i managed to bend mine but never break it.
and that was a 60 mph impact.

That's an easy fix I usually used a torque wrench if you don't have a high impact wrench.
 
I recommend towing it on flat bed but if you trust yourself then drive it, as long it's not 30 miles away from your house.

I have oil seal,crank seal and the whole set seals for the engine.

Which tie rod did you break, the inner or outer?  If its just the outer you can get away w/o an alignment if you do it right.
