YEAH LIKE SLOWING DOWN OR STOPING HE SAYS IT WILL SAVE GAS AND BRAKE PADS I CAN SEE HOW IT WILL SAVE YOU BRAKE PADS BUT WHAT ABOUT GAS??

i have never heard of that i know letting it roll in neutral saves some.....like rolling into astop

Hes right. When your not on the gas, and just slowing down using the engines resistance, that uses ZERO gas. When you push the clutch in and the engine starts idling, that uses gas. However, it does put a little more wear on the clutch.

Its nothing like idling.. your slowing down with the car in gear ... AKA engine braking.

i know what it is, dont noob me hehe, i mean in terms of gas consumption, it doesnt burn as much as it looks since its the tranny the one whos doing all the dirty work... oh nevermind... i have a couple of beers on me

i would love engine breaking but it is a hard time for your clutch... i guess i can see how it can save gas..
