Okay guys... it is impossible to drift a FWD car.  The whole idea is to get the car to fish-tail out, steer into the side, step on the gas, and regulate it with the E-brake.  Since a FWD pulls the rear, you can not get the rear tires to lose grip and fish-tail out.  You may be able to get the whole car to spin out but onlu by using the E-brake if you have ABS Braking.

actually, my friend has a perfectly balanced integra, and at the autocross, he actually sometimes can get his car into a drift, no jokes.  If you like FF drifting, get a fatty rear sway bar

Thats OK Jeff. But thats not drifting... thats just loss of traction in the rear... not caused by power.

i think we should develop a term for this "fwd drifting" so that ppl dont' get bitched out anymore.  this is one of the stupidest things i've ever heard about arguing about!

Every time Ive ever seen this brought up, I.E.- Club3g.com and eclipseforums... theres a big debate about it... that usually ends up with everyone fighting over it. PS- I think problems will arise by calling it "FWD Drifting"... Its non existant...Sorta like... "FWD Wheelies" Get what I mean?

Sure they can... especially with an unequal balance of power leaning towards the rear end.

dude I can get my Evo pretty sideways as it is now.   and when FOG took me for a ride when he was on the 50trim in 1st he stood on it and all through 1st and 2nd the car was sideways.

AWD can most certainly drift it just takes more power to hold it sideways
