Ok well ever since i had my car the engine light has been on and i went to autozone and came back with 1 code ....2 times of the same codes (P1104) Turbocharger Wastegate Solenoid Malfunction - "looked it up in my CHILTON Book"

What can i do to fix the Turbocharger Wastegate Solenoid...and if i replace it would that code go away

If the person that had it before me took off the Turbocharger Wastegate Solenoid Restrictor...would that make the enigne light come on

If you remove the negative battery cable and wait about 10 seconds and then put it back on it should erase any codes you have.  If it comes back then obviously the problem hasn't been fixed.  Are you using a turbo thats internally gated?

well i got the code erased and still comes on......and yes it is internally gated

Turbocharger Wastegate Solenoid Restrictor you can break those things very easily and i'd assume if he did it would throw a check engine.  I'll let one of the other dsmer's that are more familiar with these cars chime in.

Since you have a boost controller you can disconnect the other vacuum line from the BCS and the light shouldn't come back on. If you need help with the vacuum routing don't hesitate to let me know. Good luck brother

BCS....i have no clue sorry....i'm lost.....so what do i need to do..any pics

the boost control solenoid. There are 2 vacuum lines running into it. The top one is from the manifold and the bottom one goes to the waste gate actuator. So basically it is like an electronic boost controller. You could tap your boost controller in this way if you'd like. But I'm pretty sure as long as the solenoid is reading zero... as oppossed to having vacuum going nowhere... the light won't return. I'll try to post a diagram if i'm not making any sense. Its late haha..

The boost control solenoid needs to remain plugged in electronically in the 2Gs.  That could be why you're getting the CEL SoulHacker.  The BCS is located under the MAF area.  It has two vacuum nipples on it like Oh_what_up stated.

well i was looking around under my hood and found that there is a vacuum line that is not hooked up....here are some pics

ok well found out were that hose went looking at the Virtual Tour of a 2G DSM Engine Bay and it went to the Fuel Pressure Regulator...and i was wondering if i need to connect that tube back...i has a upgraded B&M CommandFlo Fuel Flow Modifier ....would it matter if that tube is connected to the Fuel Pressure Regulator

The first pic with the tube just dangeling there goes to the stock FPR, that little brass looking diaphram that is attached to the fuel rail.  That clear tube goes to the boost gauge.

Well, where is the B&M getting it's vacuum source from if the solenoid has one source dangeling and the one from the manifold is connected to the boost line?
Why is the solenoid's line just open, with a line from the manifold still connected to it?!

well that b&M has a little thing on top of it like the stock FPR for that hose

Silver coupe is absolutely right. You need to leave the solenoid plugged in electronically but the 2 vacuum lines can be disconnected with no problem. Thats the same story with the majority of the evap sensors as well. The Fuel pressure regulator solenoid can be disconnected as well. I wouldn't recommend it however because it opens up the regulator upon start up to aid in cold starts.

Ok, you don't have to have the b&m connected to the fpr because you have a larger fuel pump, so vapor lock won't be an issue....or, you can leave it connected like it shows in the 2G virtual page.  I've done both and I don't see any difference in hot startups.  I have a 255 also.
To answer your question though, yes, you do need to connect a vacuum source to the b&m whether from the solenoid or straight from the top vacuum nipple on the intake mani.

If you do decide to bypass the fpr solenoid, it needs to remain electrically connected and the tubes removed, just like the boost solenoid.
