Exhaust Options

Ok I know this topic is one that everyone always wants to avoid because its been repeated a million times but I need to ask. Ok I havae been all over to may website and trying to find sound clips of evo owners exhaust is a PITA. For example... try looking for what a AMS catback sounds like......good luck, I looked and looked and can not find a sound clip of a stock or semi stock evo with this exhaust on, only sound clip of a ams exhaust I found was from thier 900hp car and I know mine wont sound like that. The only site I found that had clips of thier products was HKS, I heard thier hks hi power catback and I liked it, but I wanna hear others cars to know exactly what I want. Sooo to everyone here, if you know a link to sound clips or have some of your own car please post them if you could and please let me know what mods are done and what type of exaust it is, turboback or catback, if a turboback do you have a hi flow cat or no cats. Thanks everyone and hopefully this will givw me enough to help me make my decision.

Oh F.O.G I have heard your car from the videos from the track that you had, damn is your car loud but good loud I wouldnt and could'nt have it like that though as a everyday driver especially where I work, I;d be pulled over everday

the funny thing is about FOG's car is that when he is not on it you can barely here it. I runs really quiet until boosted

all of my car.... cant go wrong sound awsome IMO and all for a full Turbo back 3 inch mandrel bent stainless and only $550 into my pocket to it (most turbo backs cost like $1100 or so)

I really do like your setup emonz it sounds really good, do you got a hi flow cat on or no cat??? What does your setup consist of?? I know megan but is there anything else you have im missing??

It says it is catless though, can you purchase any hi flow cat to make it fit??? I definaltely wanna have a cat because I dont wanna go through the hassle of taking an exhaust on and off when pollution testing comes around like I did on my old car, it was just a pita. The only thing I kinda dont like on the exhaust is the blue on the exhaust tip, is that how yours is??

I got no cat... straight pipe to the muffler.   The tip is blue as is most Evo exhaust tips.   It acutally loks good that way to be honest.  oh and dont buy from ebay go on EVOm and PM Zues and ask if he still sells it for $550 shipped then youll get what I got

cool thanks. Do you think I'll have problems with going that route with no cats?? Like i said emmision tests are a beeeotch here and I'll probably have problems with out them, over by me they check all that crap.

If I pm Zues from evom you think he would know if he can get a hi flow cat with the kit? Iknow I've seen some other TBE and when buying them they give you the option to buy a hi flow cat instead of running catless, you think that would be the same case here? Sorry for all the questions again emonz.

you can runa  high flow cat with it but you might need to have a shop custom make it for the kit, unless megan sells them because the megan exhuast uses different bolt patterns than the stock piping flanges

I am pretty sure They have a bolt in Hi flow as an option when you buy the exhaust.  Zyou will get haslted with no cat.  We have the same testing here and I have no cat I have yet to pass the inspection so I have go 2 tickets and 1 warning so far since may lol.  But the tickets were only $20 and $35 so whatever.   I should be able to get it pass this year but I need the "hook" up for that
