Exhuast system going on tomorrow....yes

So, Yeah saturday im getting my megan catback, megan resonated testpipe, works downpipe and fuel pump installed. Im also having all the fluids changed as well, motor oil, rear diff, TC, and the trans. Then sunday im getting my road tune......man i cant wait to see what this car will do when its finished. When im there im gonna take some pictures of everything that we do so I can post it. Well im done for the night but I'll post back tomorrow after the install and then sunday i repost about the tune. I hope i wont need more power in a year..lol But unfortunately I know i'll do more like you emonz lol. you will be fine  you doing alot of basic mods and they are generally easy to do.  I bet you anything though youll start to get used to the power in a year and want more.  that is what I did and it is a vicsous cyle that never ends

All I can say is wow, what a difference, eeven the guys that put it on said it sounded really good. At idle and low speeds it is a good amount louder than stock, but WOT omg it just sounds awesome. DAmn Emonz I can just picture your exhaust in person now, since you got the regular testpipe and my testpipe is resonated. The sound is bassy and very aggresive, it doesnt have that high pitch nasty sound. So im am very happy and I cant wait, tomorrow Im doing the road tune, that should be interesting..lol Oh plus I gotta have them check over the exhaust because from a take off i hear something rattling.

the rattleing is normal.   Mine does it.  the exhaust pipe shakes side to side and hits the heat sheald under the car.   not a big deal  you can bend the sheild a little bit to try and move it out of the way.   personally it isnt really worth it cause it will prob still rattle a little bit.  It is something you cant really avoid since the point of the exhaust is to have the least amount of bends possible.

Yeah its funny, the exhaust seems very tight with no ratttles while driving over bbumps or anything, its just when going from a take off or if i rev the car a little it sounds like its coming from the center area of the car, but if thats the problem im not worrried then, thanks emonz. I just got a meessage from my tuner last night and asked if we could tune another day because he got sick last night so Im gonna call him and see whats up, i might have to get the tune next week.

ok, I got the guilty culprit for the rattling in my exhaust, it was the bung for the wideband, since I dont got a wideband I had the plug in, but it must have loosened up as I was driving and that was causing the problem. I took the car to the local muffler shop since they had a lift to see what the problem was, i didnt feel like jacking up the car. So emonz now that its fixed I got no rattel whats so ever, the car just sounds so freakin awesome, I just got back from a long drive and it turns heads now..lol and sets off every alarm.lol I love it, Hey Emonz if I did get the testpipe instead if it being resonated like i got how much of a difference in sound would there have been??? I am pissed about one thing though, I washed my car yesterday and today its all dirty again...dammn lol. Well everyone have a nice sunday and see ya tomorrow.

Ooh next week when they tune my car they are gonna do the o2 simulator for me for free, but i got a question, how long do you think i got before my service engine light comes on??

The o2 sim will make the light stay off.  other wise is a day or so it will come on,  I cant honestly say how much loader your car would be with the test pipe.  I have a resinator in the mid section of mine.... keep in mind too after the reflash your car will be loader and sound alot faster than right now lol

lol, yeah I got black to but its a pita to keep clean and unfortunately I found a ton of big scratches after I washed it yesterday. But tomorrow after work I'll try to get more pics for ya.

the exhaust looks good... i like the blue tip look.     i was looking at the Greddy Titanium exhaust today which is S I C K but way to expensive lol

i got the megan catback with test pipe for 350 shipped from zeus over at evolutionm.net it sounds really good too, I paid like 420 for mine though because I bought the resonated testpipe, if you get the testpipe non resnonated its 350 shipped. Very nice setup with no problems on the fitment with my works DP.

Well I got my tune today.......all i can say is OMG what a difference, the car pulls so much better in the top end. It just pulls way better, I love it, thanks emonz for recommending me to get all these mods, im really happy with the car now but.......... lol I think i want cams now...lol I went for a drive in my tuners car and he had basically the same mods as me but he had some cams and a mbc and the car just pulled like crazy, i didnt expect it to make that kind of difference. Well thats my news for now, i let you guys know if i do anything else.

If you get cams youll need another flash.  Cams are a good 20-30WHP gain which is what you prob just made with your flash from stock. so you just made 20-30 then cams will get 20-30 more ... I knew youd be happy with your car.  but a year from now youll be needing more. and hopfully i will to lol so I can pass on the Mitsubishiforum Evo TTrix 50trim kit on to you lol and I can upgrade to like a 37r and a 2.3L kit and make like 650HP lol

best way to do it i one step at a time though.... I am glad I went the bolt on route to 50trim route then work it up to a 37r route
