Fender Accents?

I'm planning to put some of these fender accents on my eclipse.  Just for the looks obviously.  But I was wondering what everyone thinks about the way it will look with the accents.  http://www.donmar.com/chrome/PHV-OvlChrL.jpg

They're stick on, so no drilling.

that would be a no go... i hate accents like that... i even hate the way that the new ford super duties and the tiburon has em, etc.

what kind of car do u have? is it a GS or RS, cuz if so then u could pull it off, but if its a GST/GSX dont even think about it

i dont think those could be pulled off on any eclipse... and i think the only cars that can pull those off are like ritzy cars, ya know? like an escalade, or a lucerne, lexus, etc. dont do it man, it'd be so ricey

Thanks for your opinions guys.  It's been really helpful.  But I just hope everyone knows that I'm not doing it to fool anyone into thinking I have a aston martin or anything hahaha.  I just thought it would look nice on my car, very simple reason.  I thought rather than getting an expensive body kit, or lambo doors(which I'm not so fond of), this is an easy/cheap thing that I could do to make it look a little neat and eye catchy.  And I was wondering if anyone has ever done this, or seen another eclipse with it.  And why would it be fine on a RS/GS but bad on a GSX/GST?  They all look alike don't they?  Just a curious question.  And thanks everyone for contributing helpful opinions.  I really appreciated it.

Basically that would be an eye sore on the Eclipse.

the reason why it'd be better to do on a gs or rs is cause it's near impossible to make those things fast unless you dump an unreasonable amount of money into them, so all you can really do that would be worth it is make it look nice... a gst or gsx your money would be much better spent on performance upgrades, cause you can make those things quick fast... pun intended

Personally i think they are ****ing stupid. I see them all the time in broken ass V6 mustangs, pontiacs... and mexicanized cars. They are associated with the lower class... and they look STUPID. Plus, you can get them at Wal Mart...

I actually got mine from Walmart.  But what is the difference with getting these, as opposed to getting body kits?  They both have the same purpose.  Body kits make your car look nicer, and costs a hefty amount more.

Good news for all who are against it.  I'm returning it today.  But not because I'm swayed.  But because they didn't fit that far properly.  There are no flat surfaces on the front.  Hahaha  Thanks everyone for your advice.

Mexicanized cars.....hmmmmmm! Im mexican. I live in san diego.....I don't have a "Mexicanized" car. Ummm....My friends are mexican and they have nice cras Mustang GT V8 with a keene bell supercharger, the other one has a Subaru WRX STI, The other one has a GSX.....The list goes on, none of these cars run like crap have decals bodykits ****ed up paint none of that cheap ****. So as far as mexicanized goes thats a stupid way to put it. Ive seen cheap cars everywhere, If you wanna be stereotypical then you can say that mexicans salvage everything together on cars and looks cheap, black people put rims on everything including (rims are usually more expensive then the car), and asians will put a bodykit and spoiler on anything, and white people drive trailors...Were in 2008 that ****s old!

Uhhh what are you talking about?  I'm sorry, but I read over the thread, and I don't see anyone saying anything about mexicans.

Seriously... those things are the gayest possible option... RS/GS/GST/GT/GTS/GSX... It doesnt matter. it could make any of those hideous.
