I've seen a few mustang dd in my area w/ superchargers on them and never had any problems.

My buddy has an '03 Mustang Cobra supercharged that's 475 rwhp and 500 lbs. tq...The car has less than 10K miles..it's beautiful

damn that is one nice ass stang, i would drive it but wouldnt pay for it.. sorry, i guess it is just personal opinion and expierience with fords, never had a good one

Depends on the year of the car. The 02-03 svt cobras were probally the most underrated drag cars ever produced. Remember now, I love mitsubishi's and hate domestics(generally speaking).
Unlike most charged stangs the svt came from the factory with a root style blower. With less than 1200 spent in performance parts the car could easily jump into the mid 12's(intake, upper pully, x pipe, venom chip). Reliablity really depends on how its upgraded and mantained but if you can turn a wrench and get a jdm burn on the chip there really isn't a way to kill a terminator.
Theres a kit out right now by kenny bell that throws out the stock blower and replaces it with a 2.3liter charger

Im the same way, slow. I have a strong disslike for many domestics, but the 03-04 Cobras really have broken that. I found myself looking around for GT's... lol... yes i will hold my head in shame.
