Hey guys, I need some help.
I changed my plugs back in November, but a few weeks ago I got a CEL and A LOT of sputter/stutter in low RPMs. We tested it an I was misfiring on #2. So, we replaced them with a set of Denso iridiums. Now, not one week later, the same thing is happening! WHY AM I FOWLING PLUGS SO DAMN FAST!?!?!?!?
Pleas help guys!

im guessing you didnt gap them correctly?
if you know they are then start working backwards: wires, coil pack etc

that and make sure you dont have a boost leak.

Okay, upon removing my plugs, I noticed I had a little oil on the #2. I was thinking my valve cover gasket is shot...maybe that's why I'm sputtering??? Hmmmm, what do you guys think?
Am I off still?

No. Your rings are probably getting bad. Pretty bad. You got dark blue smoke coming out the back end?

Either that or he has a shot head gasket causing him to burn coolant and oil...causing the sputter... or the bad rings

bad rings wont blow out your spark plugs though. I am gonna go on the head gasket idea.

well, no smoke that I can see. I gapped my plugs according to the manual. I am going to have an upper engine rebuild done anyway...I will knock out every possible in one shot...Only $200+tax...so why the hell not, right?
