order a front license plate bracket for your mitsu..probably from the parts dept. at the dealership..it should come with the hardware to mount it.

no they dont look too bad. Just use clear ones, and cut off the excess. This path will cost you about 2 dollars. or you can do what shreff said and go order an overpriced plate bracket from satan.
or you can just drive around without it, and as long as youre not breaking any other laws, you wont get pulled over because most cops dont care. And if they DO decide to give you a ticket, its a fix-it ticket. You just have to put a plate on the front of your car when you go to the court house, and the ticket dissapears............At least in oregon.

actually ive seen the ones the bolt up from the bottom, they have frames for that type of install, and if you dont want it you can take it down and not have to see the bolts, i might go with that

you will have to drill holes in the bumper cover to use the factory plate bracket.
HUGE holes, as the bracket is held in place by large rubber expanding crush-nuts.

you can always just take a hammer to the liscence plate, completely f***ing it up, and keep it in your trunk. if you get pulled over tell the cop your dad backed into you and you just fixed the bumper and were gonna put the plate on that night
