Hi, I was just wondering if anyone can help me or explain to me how to set up a front mount intercooler for a 96 eclipse gsx (auto trans). I'm ready to upgrade from the little stock intercooler to a front mount. When looking at the intercoolers, i read about something like this "There is very minor splash guard and nose trimming required, and the power steering cooler will get removed, and the lines will loop back to the tank. " does that mean that my ps will have to go?

no its just saying that you'll have to remove the metal lines that come across the front radiator support in order for the front mount to fit. If you do a search there is thread with some alternatives to that. If you have access to a welder, you can just cut the radiator support, push the PS lines behind it and re-weld it back together.

its much easier though with the PS line to cut it and replace with rubber, and it doesnt really do any harm to it. And you might need a smaller fan too.
