Good Bye

Bye fellow DMS-ers. I'm going to miss this site. I haven't even been here long. At 1pm today, they pronounced my Eclipse Totalled.. :( 1995 Eclipse GST. Felt like a luxury car in a sports car. Going to miss it. They are giving me $4750. This lady ran a red a light and hit me. I'm 16 and I've had this eclipse since March. I have almost put 300 miles on it. And now its totalled.. Wow. This sucks. 109600 on it right now. Been driving without a parent since June 18th. Just wanted to say thanks for making me feel welcome. I love this site.

i can buy it for $800. they told me it would cost too much to fix. but im going to bring this pic to a repair shop tomorrow and see if they can give me an estimate.

shoot 800 thats it  i would buy that in a heart beat you can fix it or sell for parts and make enough money with the 4000 they gave you to buy something better

Theyre giving you almost $5k for it... you may even be able to pick up a GST for that amount.. on the up side.

Well you make it sound like you're leaving the forums because you totalled your car.. which is completely unecessary. I honestly wouldn't keep it, it isn't worth it. Trust me. Dusty's right, something will come along if you look. I paid 3500 for mine, so I'm sure you can find one within your price range. Good luck. =]

I like this forum. I cleaned it out at 10 a.m. this morning. Took plates off and my speakers and etc. I found a 1997 Toyota celica gt. for $4700. Anyone driven one before? Any good? Found a coupel 2nd gen GS's around here :( one with a unpainted body kit. ha

The Celica's between 93-99 were a joke.
 
You're better off going for the small pick up like you told me you wanted, as opposed to a celica.

Nissan Frontiers are great little trucks.
So is the Ford Ranger.
Personally, i'd veer away from the S-10. I had one and spent a sh*tload of money on it in mods and repairs.
The Toyota Tacoma is also one great pickup.

Whoa I have an SDime for sale......my every other day ride.....Its NEVER give me one problem!....I change the oil every 3k miles and it keeps rolling. PM me if your interested.  Its all how you take care of your ride
