Removed the air box and kept the stock intake tube and put a k&n at the end of it.

you should be able to hear the difference... maybe you just dont know what exactly to listen for so you think you cant hear it lol

Well actually i think i here it. When my rpms are climing fast i here a loud humming/wishelish type sound up front. Must be it.

2 things... first of all... i've never, ever heard of a 420a's rpm's climin fast, ever haha, and thats comin from experience of owning an rs for 2 years hahaha... and secondly, if you pop ur hood, and turn on ur car, manually give ur car some throttle, you'll be able to hear it suckin it pretty loud... do u have a cai? or a short ram air? i had a ram air and it was pretty loud

Stock rubber intake tube.
You should see my quad. Idles at 2500rpm and i can make it hit 13,000+ rpm in under 1 sec!

god a vid to back that up? and the stock tube isnt a cold air intake tube......you need the aftermarket ones for it to be a new CAI

street bikes can do that all day long too, not a huge deal really its a quad just like a bike

a Friend has a honda 750cc motor and he built a custom go kart using that motor. he welded up the frame and ran all the cables ect. The thing was faster than my 3g GS by far when it was running right. Pretty funny actualy. it was a open wheel indy car looking thing

Not a crotch rocket motor it gots a yz426 bored to 444cc. PWR radiator and motor has intake and exhaust race cams, full $900 race clutch, lightened fly wheel, stiffer valve springs and over sized, ported and polished, full race exhaust, carb bored to 41mm. It a $15,000 pro quad.
The red pic is of how the quad is stock and the blue pic is of mine. As you can see theirs nothing stock. Its 6 inches wider than stock and can be lowered all teh way down to 2" off the ground or raised to have 13" of ground clearance under it.
This link shows the same quad as mine with the same motor. This guys is using a near stock yz426 motor. Mines also alot louder.
