can someone tell me the differences cause I am new to the mitsubishi world and love my 97 GSX to death since i bought it about 2 months ago.

any info would be great

They're both turbo charged and basically the same.. but the GSX is all wheel drive, while the GST is front wheel only.

RS and GS models are not turbo charged and have different engines.. these are both front wheel as well.


btw, this should have went in the Mitsubishi Eclipse section of the forum, not Off Topic. Also, please use the search option on the forum for your questions before you post. This question has been asked numerous times and you could have gotten an answer much faster. I didn't mind answering though.

Exactly what he said. You have the best model of the 2g eclipses. So you'll notice when you floor it and shift hard, you wont spin tire at all. Nice car.

I want a GSX so bad... SOOOO bad... err.. I don't even have a stick right now.. *sighs* Life blows. I bought the RS before I knew a thing about eclipse's... mitsu's for that matter.. I didn't care much about research.. I drove a '91 Lumina and the RS fell into my hands for a good price.. so I took it. haha.. should have did some research, still...

Anywho, yeah, those are the differences between the two. Get the GSX!!!!

lol yea 2 GSX..lol.... dont forget though the GSX is also the heaviest 2ng gen eclipse (heavier than the spyders)..there all points covered on the GST GSX aspect...
