Has anyone looked into the replacement of the HID bulbs for the XLS? Also, any idea on the lifespan of the bulbs?

Well I can tell you a few things about the HID lights, the lifespan is a lot longer than a standard halogen, but I'm not sure the actual hours of life, but the bulbs are quite expensive at about $100-150 a bulb I believe.

The lifespan is about 3000 hrs.  You can't go out and buy any hid capsule, it needs to be  D2R & OEM style plug (not one of the commonly available AMP-type connectors)
