Help find me a pet!!

I'm looking for a Chipmunk for a pet... Anyone know where i can find one/two? Please help..... I fail at google/yahoo/ask...

not yet..i got this idea for a pet at 11pm...

lol well thats the first place i would look, i dont know, look in the newspapers in the classifieds too..

chipmunks are considered to be 'exotic' animal for some odd reason...its a damn furry rat.....

check in your back yard, i hear thats where they like to hang out

well i looked and foudn this site which seemed very helpful but NOT updated.. but perhaps you could email one of these people and ask if they know where to go NOW.. ??

Actually it would be highly illegal for you to have a chipmunk as your pet because they are on the "endangered species" list or "threatened species" list, one of those although you see thme EVERYWHERE...If you really want one though you'll have to set a box trap out in your yard and try to trap one.

you cannot have a wild chipmunk as a pet, they wont survive in an enclosure.. so all that trapping and backyard stuff is rediculous. and north american chipmunks are not endangered

they sell chinese chipmunks at a pet store near me (last i checked, and they look just like the ones here)

personally id go with a chinchilla, breed them, train them THEN TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!

ya that sounds healthy!!!!

lol i called up an 'exotic' pet shop today and they said it was illegal to have a regional animal as a pet...so i guess i cannot have one...the only chipmunk i can have is a chinese chipmunk..and the guy said those are 'vicious bastards'...kinda depressing...so what else is a cool but little animal...and no chinchillas because they are dirty and smell funny and take dust baths...

is this limited to just rodents?

Ferrets are cool....Tarantulas, naked mole rat, piranhas, gecko, iguana....just throwin' some ideas out there.

Aquatic turtles are easy to take care of, Red Eared Sliders are the easiest, put thm in a good size tank of water, with 2 filters a heat lamp and a UVB lamp, and throw the fish and turtle pellets, theyll be fine

i have an iguana, they mess up thier cage pretty fast

get a lemur

Lemurs are on the endangered list...just got done reading it on Google.
