looking for that PERFECT cat-back exhaust system for 2000 eclipse GT V6 (fed) (does a cat-back eliminate the cat?)
i need the one that will give me the best performance. the most power!
ive already have injen intake system. and i heard thtat the injen cat-back has been tuned for cars with injen CAI.
please let me know about exhaust system.
let me know whats the best!

cat back will not delete the cat
Injen cat back needs NO tune. you need tune if you get headers
Invidia is my personaly fav. I had that on mine as well has apexi N1 at one time. and I have installed the Greddy EVOII on a GT as well (Greddy I wasnt a big fan of)
and all exhaust on the 3G eclipse add almost nothing for power. they all net around 5-7HP that is all you get more from your intake. But if you add headers as well then youll feel it

do you NEED to tune with headers? or will the car still run fine? (minus a little gas mileage of course)

You will run fine without a tune. But if you do get it tuned with like and SAFC or something you can gain around 10-15HP more

is there any EXACT instructions on how to hookup a SAFC? like step by step right out of the box?

you can get them online... BUT that doenst tell you how to tune it... you will need to dyno tune it unless you have a wideband and know what AFR is ideal
