HID lights on an 08

is it just a matter of repalcing the stock bulbs with high intensity ones? and what exactly is an HID conversion kit?

Hey the guy from Car Domain had his bulb replace without replacing any parts for the Headlights his
 
DRL was working, as long you have the same bulb number it will work.
 
 
He only change the bulb.
 
Try it if doesn''t work bring it back to where you got them and ask for A refund
 if internet ordered forget it.

i ask cuz i dont want to risk burning my wires or run into any electrical problems. so i wanna be sure before i try anything.
