BUT on the exhaust side of the turbo it says GARRETT on a little plate and the entire side of the turbo says GARRETT i called him and was like WTF because even the receipt he gave me says HKS-1104RM006US and the total was $1335.37 and ill be god damned if i see one trace of HKS on the turbo and hes like oh garrett makes the parts for HKS
.

Is it garrett of HKS

What turbo is it? Google it and see if HKS or Garret claim it. Garret is a huge manufacturer of turbos, HKS may have just bought the turbo from them and called it their own as companies tend to do, however; there should still be HKS on the housing somewhere. Either way, Garret is the turbo maker and HKS is just a buyer and "relabeler" (is that even a word? lol).

It could be HKS if thats what he said. I was talking to a friend the other day about turbos and he said that theres only like a few manufactures out there that actually build the whole turbo. Other companies just buy the parts from here and there and piece them 2gether and call them their own
