hood ?

Alright I have a lancer es and i want to replace my hood which has chips in the paint to an evo8 style. How is the vent setup on the hood? I mean with rain falling in and gettin the short ram intake wet? I have never seen an evo8 up close so i didnt know how the vent worked.

youll be fine,, My vent is completely open and my intake filter sits in there too. the water will evap if it is taken in so you wont have a problem and on top of that the hood has a vent cover that has small slits in it stocK i just took it out so you can see in the engine bay
