man people look at you funny when you say it? I mean I know when I hear something like that I am thinking in my head not to correct it but I lose all consetration on what ever convo because I am now to busy thinking about it being mis pronounced lol.

Read my first post. I used to call it that until a buddy of mine yelled at me and told me it was GRR-ed-ee
so yes, i got my fair shot of weird looks. OH well

born in Oregon, fully raised Californian. No accent here. lol (no valley girl, thank god)

I live in the deep south of Alabama, so you would think I would say Gred E.. sounds like the quick southern way of talking.. lazy talk.. Gred E is like a 100% redneck sounding word, but I'm not a redneck, so I always say GrayDee...
And just for the record.. I can't stand snowbird accents... they make me shiver.
